Il volume dedicato a Giannetto Fieschi non illustra ma accompagna un tracciato espositivo svolto per tappe cronologiche e spaziali diverse e indipendenti tra di loro, qualificate da aree tematiche e processi linguistici affrontati, recuperati, scoperti e rivisitati, stravolti con approccio spesso contraddittorio ed esasperato; un'edizione dettata dalla volontà di rispettare la dimensione caleidoscopica al cui interno stanno non solo esperienze dichiarate dalle opere ma ambiti ed aree esperienziali tanto nascoste da essere irrecuperabili e se riportate alla luce, rispettandone la dimensione impenetrabile. Una monografia la cui struttura registra il patrimonio iconografico racchiuso nel percorso espositivo articolato tra un alto numero di sedi, per poi divergere arricchendosi di dati raccolti e segretamente conservati tra lo Studio e la Casa. L'obbiettivo che ci siamo posti è stato quello di ricostruire l'esistenza dell'autore e delle sue opere, che nel caso di Fieschi risulteranno inscindibilmente collegate tra di loro quale frutto di quella sovrapposizione che si racchiude nel concetto di arte/vita. Andrea B. Del Guercio The monograph on Giannetto Fieschi does not illustrate but accompanies an exhibition that is distributed across different and independent chronological and spatial stages. Each one of these deals with a specific subject area or linguistic process that is analysed, recovered, discovered, and revisited, distorted with an often contradictory and exasperated approach; in this collection of texts we wanted to respect the kaleidoscopic dimension that goes beyond the experiences described in the works, touching on scopes and worlds so hidden as to be irrecoverable; if these are to be brought to light, their impenetrable dimension must remain unscathed. The monograph's structure follows the iconographic heritage described in the exhibition itinerary. This collection was then enriched by the documents collected and secretly stored away in the Studio and House. The goal we set ourselves was to reconstruct the existence of the artist and his works, which, in Fieschi's case, will be inseparably linked to each other as the result of that overlap that is contained in the concept of art/life.
